Not so fast

By all the big talk from Bev Perdue's campaign, you'd think they were ready to call the moving vans and set up shop in the Governor's Mansion.

Not so fast, my friends.

A new independent Civitas poll shows that Richard Moore has cut Beverly Perdue's lead in half in the past month and is now only five points down.

Remembering Who This Election is About

Today, I will file papers with the State Board of Elections that make my candidacy for governor official.  With this move, we start a new phase in our campaign focused on having a real debate about the issues impacting families across our state.

Too Many Studies, Too Few Results

We have been studying the same problems in Raleigh for decades—health care, transportation, you name it.  Many of these studies contain useful ideas, but too often they result in the same conclusion—inaction.  I am going to change that as governor.  We need fewer commissions, and more solutions.
